Are you coming to Maker Faire 2008?
We are teaming up with Mitch Altman to introduce a new do-it-yourself game console
called Mignonette.
For more details, go here: www.mignonette-game.com.
If you are interested in Micro-Kids, our project for last year's Maker Faire, read below.
Micro-Kids is a hands-on workshop for young adults (age 10-17)
to learn about microcontrollers.
Under the guidance of our expert instructors, each student will program a small
device that is capable of sensing light and dark, blinking some LEDs, and making noises.
At the end of the workshop, students will get to keep their programmed device.
(Note: there will be a nominal materials fee)
Want to make an electronic firefly? No problem.
And the best part is that you can take it home!
We were at Maker Faire in San Mateo, CA on May 19 and 20, 2007. Thanks to all the people that stopped by!
Also, thanks to our instructors, who graciously volunteered their time.
We have some photos from Maker Faire here.
